Module 8: Challenge Assignment – Searching for Answers

In this module challenge, you are required to create a paid search campaign for the local tour guide business you previously developed in the WordPress module. The objective is to utilize keyword strategies and ad text to improve the business’s visibility and drive leads.

The challenge consists of the following tasks:

      1. Write a campaign brief (4-5 sentences) describing the business, target audience, goals, objectives, and at least one key performance indicator (KPI) with a description of how the metrics will be measured.
      2. Develop a keyword list with a minimum of 30 relevant keywords connected to the campaign brief.
      3. Design a campaign structure with at least six ad groups that align with the business’s strategic needs, targeting, budgets, and future optimization. You can use the provided template for campaign structure visualization.
      4. Create 2-4 text advertisements per ad group, incorporating the keywords from your list. Include at least one ad extension that is relevant to the local audience. Include screenshots of the ads in your presentation.

The required deliverables for this challenge include a Google Slides presentation with sections for the campaign brief, keyword list, campaign structure, and text advertisements. Additionally, there is a bonus task to complete the Google Ads Knowledge Check Assessment and study modules to earn bonus points.

Note:

To receive bonus points, you need to score at least 80% on the assessment and share the screenshot of your result with the instructor.
